Hi Priyanka, Based on your description, your Flowerhorn may be suffering from Cloudy Eye, which can be caused by a bacterial infection, poor water quality, physical injury, or internal stress. Since she is reacting to light, her vision may not be completely lost, but the condition needs prompt attention. Here\’s what you should do: • Check and improve the water quality immediately (ammonia and nitrite should be 0, and nitrate should be kept low). Perform a 30–40% water change if needed.• Maintain the water temperature at around 28–30°C.• Add aquarium salt (if there are no salt-sensitive tank mates) as per the recommended dosage.• If there are signs of infection (both eyes affected, worsening cloudiness, swelling, or redness), start a broad-spectrum antibacterial treatment suitable for aquarium fish, following the manufacturer\’s instructions.• Avoid shining bright light directly into the fish\’s eyes, as it may cause discomfort.• Since she is not eating, try offering small amounts of easily digestible foods once daily, but do not force-feed. Could you please let us know: How old is the Flowerhorn and what is its approximate size? Is the cloudiness in one eye or both eyes? What is the tank size and are there any other fish? Have you checked the water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH)? Can you share a clear photo of the fish and its eyes? With this information, we can suggest the most appropriate treatment.
