My 26th January special Homemade – Brown Basmati Rice Biryani

So, 26th January is special for everyone, including me, this year it is win situation for me because of long weekend. So I planned to make Veg Biriyani for day. I am very clueless about the how prepare it.

So, I quickly search for what vegetable is available in fridge. Luckily I had – Cauliflower, potato, Onion, and Tomato. This is very less for Vegetable Biriyani, How to prepare the Veg Biriyani. But I am quite sure I need to do any how!!

So, I collect all vegetable and for rice I used Dawat Brown Basmati Rice to make Veg Biriyani more healthy too.

 Here we start with all ingredients –

  • 200Grams Brown Basmati Rice
  • Four Onion
  • 100 Gram Cauliflower
  • Four Potato
  • Four Tomato
  • Oil
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Chili Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Biriyani Masala

Recipe to Prepare – Veg. Briyani –

  • Put Potato for boiling
    • Peal it and cut in big size
  • Keep Brown Basmati Rice for Boil
    • Add one tea spoon salt and Oil
  • Do fine chopped Onion
  • Chopped Tomato
  • Cut down the Cauliflower

If Potato and rice is cooked well, than removed for Gas. Take big utensil which easy to mix rice and prepare Veg Biriyani well.

Add Oil to Utensil. Once oil get heat add chopped onion. Cook well until it turns Golden.

Once onion turns Golden than add chopped tomato to it, adds two spoon Ginger Garlic paste to it. Mix well. Check Tomato turn into gravy than make some space in middle and add some more oil, turn Gas to low flame and let the oil get heat.

Now add half tea spoon Turmeric Powder to it, half tea spoon Chili powder and four spoon Veg Biriyani Powder to it. Let them cook, once it start smelling masala, mix all very well.

Add 50 ml water and mix well.

Now add big cut potato and cauliflower into it. Mix well. Since Cauliflower is not cooked so add more water and let them cook for ten more minutes. Put the cover so it cooked well.

Open it and mix well again. Add salt as per taste. Now add one more spoon Veg Biriyani masala to it and mix well. Slowly all water turn to thick gravy. Keep mixing the whole gravy.

Now add cooked rice into it. Don’t add whole rice in one shot but adds in steps, add few, and mix, and again add some more. And finally add whole rice and Mix well and keep for more fifteen minutes.

Now open the it and smell delicious Veg Biriyani.. wow it is yummy.
